Yvette is the founder of InTouch Mind Health, PLLC. She serves the company as the Clinical Services Director and Psychotherapist. She is a state licensed clinician and holds a Master of Social Work degree with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health from Loyola University of Chicago. Early in her career, Yvette served the Pilsen Little Village community, working with adults, families, and children. She subsequently worked in crisis intervention for various hospitals throughout Chicagoland before starting her own practice, Therapy4U-Chicago in 2010.
In response to the increased need for mental health services due to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, Yvette established InTouch Mind Health. Yvette enjoys working with individuals of all ages but specializes in working with young adults.
Specialties & Intervention Strategy
Yvette uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as Solutions Focused and Narrative Therapy interventions in the clinical setting with adults and Play Therapy when working with children. Her approach is interactive and personal, and she provides services in English and Spanish. Her areas of specialty are as follows:
Christian Counseling - OPTION Believing firmly in a person's right to choose whether or not faith will guide their individual journey, Yvette is a practicing Christian, and having studied biblical theology at Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois, she is able to incorporate biblical truths and concepts in the therapeutic setting for individuals who choose a more biblical approach to counseling.

I consider it a true privilege to walk with clients as they courageously open themselves to healing and transformation. My desire is to provide a compassionate, inclusive, and soul-sensitive space where you feel safe to explore life’s challenges—whether that means navigating independence, working through identity and relationship struggles, parenting, or balancing the demands of higher education. I believe every season of life, even the most difficult, carries the potential for growth, renewal, and peace, and I count it an honor to support you as you move toward emotional and spiritual freedom, and a more life-giving and purposeful life.

She provides care to youth, adults, and families—both nuclear and blended—and especially values offering faith-based support to Christian clients. Adam is a bilingual, emerging entrepreneur and soon-to-be graduate with a degree in Business Administration. He recently founded a company focused on precision and quality in automotive calibration services.
